Dragonball Evolution Craps Out Opening Weekend

So, Dragonball: Evolution opened and the results are in. So, how did it do?

Yup, it did pretty poorly here in the US. It took eighth place only making $4.65M. (boxofficemojo)
To tell the truth, I’m a little surprised by this because I expected the movie to at least make $10M since I figured people would go to see it just to see just how bad it is. Apparently, that was not the case as most people probably decided to see the movie my other means, like Lapinator mentioned in his review of the movie. Warning: Spoilers

The movie is not doing well globally either, so it looks like a sequel by 20th Century Fox is unlikely.
