Royal Rumble 2009 Predictions

This Sunday is my favorite WWE PPV of the year, the Royal Rumble.
Here are my predictions:

Additional note: After some extra thought, I wouldn’t be surprised if Christian was a surprise entrant in the Rumble or he gets involved in the Jeff Hardy/Edge match.

Armageddon 2008 Predictions

I don’t have time to make a video of my predictions this month so, I’ll just post them here.

Finlay vs. Mark Henry – Belfast Brawl
This has potential to be a good match. I think that in the end, Mark Henry will come out on top.

Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov
Can you say Kozlov’s first loss in a 1-on-1 match in his WWE career? I can. Mat Hardy will win.

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk – Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals
Talented Wrestler + Talented Wrestler = Great Match and New Life in the popularity of the Intercontinental Championship. Anyway, I think CM PunK will face Regal for the championship.

Batista vs. Randy Orton
Orton. I don’t know why.

Edge vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy – Triple Threat WWE Championship Match
Edge will pull a fast one on the other two and remain champion.

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho – World Heavyweight Championship Match
The Champ will still be here when the night is done. Cena will win.

And those are my picks. We’ll see if I’m right.

Survivor Series 2008 Result/Reaction

So, I did end up watching the Survivor Series last night, and I enjoyed watching it. So a quick recap of the night:

Team HBK vs. Team JBL – Survivor Series Match
Very amusing match. Well done and I enjoyed it a lot. Khali wasn’t really in the match for that long though.
Results
Sole Survivors: Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, Great Khali (Team HBK)
RIGHT! Bonus points for guessing that there would be three people left on Team HBK*

Raw Divas vs. Smack Down Divas – Survivor Series Match
I wish I was able to see that the Smack Down Divas would fight with each other as much as they fought the Raw Divas.

WRONG!

Undertaker vs. Big Show – Casket Match
Easily the most unique Casket Match ever.
Results
Winner: Undertaker
RIGHT!

Team Orton vs. Team Batista – Survivor Series Match
Not a good day to be Batista.
Results
Sole Survivors: Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. (Team Orton)
RIGHT!

Triple H vs. Vladamir Kozlov vs. Jeff Hardy – WWE Championship Match
So, it was said that Jeff Hardy was attack early morning with a blunt object to the head and would be unable to compete. So it was just Triple H and Vladamir one-on-one in a pretty boring match. Things picked up when Vicky arrived…

Winner: Edge?!?! (New Champ) Seriously, go read the results. They’re pretty messed up.
WRONG!, but how could anybody call that one?

Chris Jericho vs. John Cena – World Heavyweight Championship Match
Cena came back, and it was awesome.
Results
Winner John Cena (New Champ)
RIGHT! Despite me saying he would win by DQ.

So, I got 4 out of 6 right. That’s pretty good considering there was no chance in heck I was going to guess Edge correctly.
